Very physical Nosferatu, as well as very political ones are not out of the question (and they can go together, I mean, Schwarzie, anyone ?).
Gossip and intimidation, but also lies and sneak tricks (through the mask of a thousand faces, obfuscating the voice, and of course, plain up beating someone in the streets) can make them great drug dealers, corrupt detectives, policemen or else… Give them some Finances, some Politics, lots of Contacts and lots of make up, and they can become quite social indeed. Their three disciplines, Animalism, Obfuscate and Potence are not all aimed at information. Don’t limit the Nosferatu to “the first informed”. Kings of the information for sure, but not only. The tensions between the Nosferatu PC and the Nosferatu clan are great hooks as a ST to play around with blood bonds, abuse, resent for being turned as a f'ugly bitch/bastard… They’ll learn other’s ways around unlife, they’ll make boons, and of course, they will inform their clanmates about society.Ī Nosferatu is always the tip of the iceberg, if the Nosferatu PC knows, the whole clan knows. The Nosferatu PC will create his or her own agenda as they’re learning how to play, and they’re getting to know the city.Ĭonsider the first scenario of the Nosferatu PC “outside” as the Amish teen kids having their break from the community for some time, then they decide whether they want to go back to the community or not. Their community makes it a perfect clan to groom new players into Pen and Paper :DĪs they have a very tight clan system, with an actual solidarity in between their members, the Nosferatu clan offers a wide variety of options to bring PCs to do something this way, a Nosferatu player does not need a personal agenda just his elders, his sire, or the brotherhood sending them in for the job because “your skills are the most suited, plus this way you meet. Why them ? Well, because they’re the most communal Clan, which make them, oddly, one of the best clans for new players to try and embrace the Masquerade (and the Requiem too). Build the Nossies first, then you’ll be able to integrate all other kindred in town. It’s very important for STs and new players to tackle down the Nosferatu as your most solid, basic clan. The Nosferatu clan is the perfect beginner clan to me as a ST. I’ll start this little series on the “how to” on the clans with the amazing Nosferatu Clan.
